The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul describes the organization as “a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” Volunteerism, therefore, is the heart of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and our work helping neighbors in need.
At the SVdP Council of East Texas, we provide local Vincentians with financial support, best practices, training, education, and spiritual formation as they assist our most vulnerable neighbors.
